About Me

I never realized how difficult it would be to write the “about me” section for my website until I sat down to do it…really try it, it’s much harder than you would think! So here goes. I’m a mother of two young children and happily married. I am very outgoing, have a large personality and I talk a lot. I enjoy meeting new people and socializing (ask any of my former teachers and they’ll agree!). I love a lot of things; my family (which is very large) coffee, the beach, bagel sandwiches with cream cheese and bacon, and of course photography. As far as I can tell I’ve loved photography as long as I’ve been around. Shortly after high school I purchased my first camera (almost sad to admit that it was a FILM SLR-digital wasn’t around yet!) but I didn’t get serious about it until several years ago when I upgraded to a DSLR-and I never looked back. Ok that’s not the truth because sometimes I still get my film cameras out to shoot with. I love looking at images that you can get lost in and make you feel something. I enjoy capturing a fraction of a second that would otherwise be lost in time forever. I want to capture images that invoke emotions-any kind of emotions. My work truly comes from my heart and is a representation of how I see my environment. Photography is a passion of mine and I’m happy to share it with others. My work:
I am an onsite photographer for Weddings, portraits, families and other events. I can come to your home, local park or other location that is meaningful to you** I strive for a natural documentary style with some posed shots that people still love to have.  I like a light and clean edit-I will not do a dark faux vignette or selective coloring among other things.
